Product Review: Nu-Gro Hair Products

Well ladies, seems like every week a new product promising astounding results comes out! Some measure up, but in truth, most simply leave us looking for more or wanting our money back. Well, the “new” product on the block is Nu-Gro.

Nu-Gro is made with 100% natural herbs and vitamins and specially formulated for thinning, balding, and hair loss. Nu-Gro is guaranteed to promote longer hair, healthier hair, thicker hair, grow hair noticeably in 2 - 3 weeks, thicken hair in days, and arrest shedding hair in about 4 days.

Now, ordinarily, I’d be the first skeptic! But, ladies, I’ve got to tell you- this product DID stop all my shedding in less than 5 days AND left my hair and new growth silky soft. I've been using the product line for 2 weeks and see considerable thickness as well. I will continue for another 2 weeks to asses the results. The kit comes with four products: Professional hair gro oil, shampoo, conditioner, and moisturizing spray (or optional oil-free spray). The ingredients for most products include: Water, Glycerin, Parsley, Allium Sativum (Garlic), Nettle, Burdock, Horsetail Coltsfoot, Rosemary Leaf, Jojoba Oil, Olive Oil, Safflower Oil, Castor Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Fragrance, Pab Panthenol (B-5) Vitamin E and D, Aloe Vera.

Now, like most things, Nu-Gro does have its drawbacks! The smell is …well…quite pungent to say the least. As garlic is a primary ingredient in all products, it is the also the strongest smell in the products (except for the hair pomade). The smell can be quite lingering also. I found it best to use the spray, lightly, right after shampooing and deep conditioning. A good leave-in should cover a light application fairly well. Still, despite the odor, this product does what it promises!

Thanks for the info!

My rule is easy if I can't pronounce it; its not safe for my hair.

Its always going to cost more for organic and 100% natural products. This is the best thing we can do for our hair. I dont think our kin folk were not using chemicals way back when; they were more likly using items in the around them.

Anyway I found this other web site Beauty 4 Ashes; from reading their web site I believe this is a "faith" based company. Nevertheless their product is tailor made and literally has a expiration date because its all natural.

I am going to look into NU-GRO. Keep me posted on your progress!
