Ok good question. U should use a good deep conditioner and a protein treatment. Deep conditioners should be done with at least every hair wash. The best way to apply a deep conditioner is on dry hair let is sit for an hour or overnight and wash. Always use a deep conditioner that has oil or a moisturizer in it. Motions have a lot of great products for this. When using a protein treatment it should be used once a month. Use it as less as possible because to much protein can cause severe breakage. Try the aphogee two minute treatment or use olive oil deep conditioner and mix it with an egg and apply to hair. U can use the conditioner and egg on dry hair or wet hair. Let it sit for an hour or more then rinse. Do not apply heat to the egg conditioner. Hope this helps.

iam going to try that i just did a aphogee treatment it really dried my hair out to the point i dont even want to comb it so i just put some corn rolls in it and iam going to let them sit in for a couple of days to lock in some kind of moisture. I was using the organic root stimulator(olive oil) oil moisturizing hair lotion but that makes my haif so greasy my face break out and i dont want that iam lost with this hair business but i will try the eggs

You should try doing a protein treatment once a week for a few weeks until your hair starts to rebuild itself. You can use nexxus emergencee, mizani kerafuse, joico k-pak, or use a favorite conditioner of yours and just add an egg or two. As a daily moisturizer you can try something like organic root stimulator carrot oil. I used it for about a year to help turn my hair around. It is excellent as a moisturizer and it also has a little protein in it to to strengthen the hair.
