If you own a business targeting New York’s women of color, the 2009 Circle of Sisters is where you need to be this fall! Drawing over 35,000 people, this two-day event, taking place October 10th and 11th at Jacob Javits Center is a designed to unite, empower and celebrate women of color.
Circle of Sisters is sponsored by WBLS-FM, WLIB-AM and Inner City Broadcasting. WBLS (107.5 FM) is the premiere African American Station in the New York area. Some of its top-rated shows include The Wendy Williams Experience and the Steve Harvey Morning Show. WLIB (1190 AM) is the powerhouse 24-hour Gospel, Praise, and Inspiration station.
Circle of Sisters hosts a variety of speakers, authors, seminars, inspirational services, R&B and gospels concert in addition to the more than 200 vendors and companies selling unique items and services. This is the Fifth year of the event and due to its overwhelming success last year, we are doubling the exhibitor space to over 80,000 square feet.
In 2008, the event had an unprecedented more than 35,000 people in attendance over the two days and we’re expecting many more in 2009!
