When I lift up a strand of hair in the top the new growth is quite long. I do not have a bad grade of hair. I usually wet my hair every morning and apply moisturizer to the exposed parts. I am also using the the protein shampoos but my bottle that I got from Aphogee they state that the treatment can last up to 6 weeks and will help prevent breakage. I can honestly say that I do not see any breaking of hairs in the sink when I brush it. SO maybe it is working. We will see. I am going on my third bottle on Oct 1, 2008
