Hi,

Sorry to hear about your ends being damaged. I hate to tell you this but from my research there is nothing
you can do to repair split or damaged ends. Your hair will thank you if you just get rid of the bad ends cuz
they will only cause more damage and you may end up having to cut more length later if you try to hold
on to damaged ends.

Here is a great site

http://www.growafrohairlong.com/braidreg.html

that will show you how to wear braids and prevent from having damaged hair or
split ends. I am keeping this in my tool cart for when I get braids probably next summer. I am
nursing my hair back form a bad relaxer and weave..

Hope this helps

Kim

thankyou i have to cut my own ends because i dont have a stylist i also just took my braids out and over relaxed my hair this is hard work nothing i do helps it makes it worst iam really try to hold on to my hair what else could i do to salvage my hair iam really scared to cut my own hair tried that before and cut to much
Sorry hun, no other way. You have to cut the bad hair so it does not cause damage to the rest. But rest assured that you have gained some ground in your hair growth.
A lot of people say that you can not repair damaged ends or split ends. Thats not true at all throw that out the window. It is okay to clip your ends but don't cut your hair. There is an aphogee 2 minute protein formula that helps rebuild damaged hair, there is a product by IC that you spray on the damaged hair, its a strengthener for damaged hair and split ends. You can also moisturize and seal your ends with oil everynite to repair them. Use more conditioner on your ends and not shampoo. Shampoo is for the scalp dont rub it on your ends because it can cause dry hair and lead to breakage. Try this before actually cutting the hair. Its okay to do a light trim first before starting the regimen but I have friends who treated their ends and have not cut and it worked for them.
Try using castor oil it should help with your ends and just in general. Grease your scalp 2 to 3 times a week. You will see a difference in length, health, less breakage, and no more split ends. You can also try Jamaican Castor oil.. Good Luck!!!
