i always condition my hair with eggs and mayo. it keeps it nice and shiny
Could you share your regimen? How much mayo and how many eggs? Do you condition with this recipe after washing your hair and as a pre-shampoo? Thank you for your response.
I started adding one egg to my conditioner and leaving it on for at least an hour. No heat. My hair is much stronger since I started doing this treatment. I also follow the protein/egg treatment with a deep conditioning treatment.
It really does work!!! You're right though. You have to rinse with cool water and you're right, no heat can be involved. Thank you.
1 or 2 egg depend of ur hair lenght add oil(olive oil extra virgin) then add condition. u c result rigth after
Have'nt tried the olive oil, but will do so and let you know how it worked for me. Thank you.
I mix one egg with my conditioner leave on for about an hour. I love the way it makes my hair feel. I can really tell the difference. My hair seems more manageable. Haven't tried the mayo and olive oil , but I will the nex time I wash.
Do you deep condition after the egg/protein conditioner? I've read that you need to balance. The egg strengthens, but can dry out the hair. Deep conditioning afterward each time, replaces the softness.
Yeah I tried it.I was doing a protien treatment and it really helped with the breakage. At first it felt kinda hard but it did good in the outcome.

:3
Yes, it does get hard as it dries. But once you rinse the hair thoroughly, you can feel the difference in the texture.
I use egg only when I'm doing a protein treatment. I think its pointless for me to buy protein treatments from the store when I can make them myself. I add an egg to one of my moisturizing conditioners, some mayo and olive. Apply to my hair and let it sit for an hour. Be sure not to sit under the dryer, the egg will cook and you'll have to pick it out. I like doing my protein treatments this way. It saves me money and I havent had any problems. I'm not going to say that my hair comes out long and soo soft because its not suppose to. Protein treatments are to strengthen, replenish and prevent breakage. Always follow up with a moisturizing deep conditioner. You should let it sit for just as long as the protein treatment did or at least half the time.
ive tried the egg thing before but really wasnt that impressed. its not bad, but whats good personally to me is the kEMI hot oil treatement.
