Hello everyone..............i'm trying to make my hair healthy so it can grow, I'm using a lot of products that are suppose to stop hair breakage, and make hair healthy. I just cut my hair because of my fried ends from using too much heat, no more heat and I wear protective styles..........but I think I'm in my shedding stage but I'm not sure, is it possible to overprocess your hair with too many hair products?

products will not change your hair structure,.products can cause more dryness that equil more breakage when using the wrong ones for your hair type.our hair needs lots of moisture and a minium protiene.if your hair is healthy already, and you want to grow it longer, and your wearing it straight, hair oils will do wonders for your hair when used in moderation.
I wonder about too
about many products ( entering our bodies, chemical interaction, side effect, toxins, overloading chemical or hormone imbalance even some natural herbs like rosemary oil discouraged by pregnant women

some of our haircare or cosmetic ingredients are preservatives, fragrance, dye that people can develop contact dermatits or allergic reaction.
plus add all of the chemicals we eat, different products we normally use laundry detergeant ,

did people in the past like 200 years ago do some of the things we do today to our hair...yet still their hair grew.....only problem in the past was when people, who had bad hygiene of not cleaning their hair developed lice or skin disease

I think YES and that a little product is best for body.

There are tons of damaging products out there. Don't become a victim. You have to carefully read the labels to see what's in the product. Hairfinity.com has an article providing a list of harsh sulfates and such which are very harmful to black hair. Like you, I've suffered from fried ends. Try Mizani products they seem to work the best for my hair. Their products (especially the protein treatment and moisturefuse conditioner) helps with breakage. Best of luck!
Yes, you are over processing your hair. I use to do the exact same thing not realizing that I am doing more damage to my hair. I am using creme of nature detangling shampoo now for the past 2 weeks and I have noticed a difference. I am also taking the pills. I am about to purchase the organic virgin oil for a hot oil treatment the next time I wash my hair I will try that. Hopefully, I get great results. Good luck to you!!
relaxers over process the hair. all you need is a good protein treatment and use products that aid in moisturizing the hair.
I use to have a relaxer and I was always having an issue with dry ends, split ends and breakage in general. I am now 5 month's Natural, no more perms.. My hair is growing out beautifully and I am also using Castor Oil that works great on Natural and relaxed hair. Use it 2 to 3 times a week and you will see great results. Healthier hair, alot of growth, so split ends and grow out your thin edges.. Try it, you will love it...
Yes too much of a good thing can hurt you.Seeing that your hair is damaged I recommend trying Doo Gro.Use this whole line completely without using another product outside of the line.Another thing that you could do is consult a good hairstylist.Make sure she believes in keeping your hair healthy because that is the most important factor. With a good hairstylist she will deep condition your hair with a PROFESSIONAL product(THAT is what you need to reverse your damaged hair)and your hair will start on the road of repair. Also try Wildgrowth. This is the best product that you could ever use.Wildgrowth is the ONLY prouct that I use by the way.Try these tips(but see if you could go to a hairstylist)and I guarantee you your hair will be growing in no time.
